i wanted to try to make money taking surveys and i didn’t know of a good credible site so if anyone can help i would appreciate it.
The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to pay before you can get these surveys.
Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics — e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old — and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey — you’re definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.
Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don’t earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

Yes there is. There are actually a few different ways to make money online. One of those happens to be taking surveys for money. I have done this myself and have made money. Some survey sites are free but offer little reward for the amount of work you put in. The best ones have access to a vast database of companies that are willing to pay you for answering their questions.

Many of the online survey sites are scams. You need to find a legit site. One legit site I found does not have surveys but other interesting modules like selling business cards you gather, etc. Check it out.

Some other sites which do very short ‘surveys’ 2-3 questions on a topic do pass your details to a sponsor if you showed an interest and agreed ie Are you interested in winning a free holiday to the Caribbean? Some of the topics are legitimate and could be useful to you (put you in touch with someone to look at your debts etc) but are other sponsors are scams. These sites tend to award you by giving you an entry into a competition (win £1000 shopping vouchers etc – which are legit) so just be non-commital in the survey responses and say no-thanks – you still get your free entries.
The opinion/reserch survey people above though are recommended by people I know.
