I saw a banner on a website a few days ago saying you can make money taking surveys. It said that the companies you take surveys for will pay you between 50p and £20 per survey and you can have the money sent by paypal. Being unemployed, this seems too good to be true, can you really legitimately make money taking surveys online?

yes you can BUT it is not very much. I do surveys for ‘valued opinions’ and the pay rate comes out under £2 an hour, so it is pocket money. You also don’t qualify for every survey they offer.

a survey gets offered about once a week. Started this around October and since then have earned £30 in Tesco vouchers. They post me a gift card and I spend it, usually the next day.

so yes, it is legit, but it is only pocket money. No survey pays £20, each one is £1 at most.
